Kediri (Jatimsmart.id) – Tradisi water salute menyambut pendaratan pertama di Bandara Dhoho Kediri, Jumat (5/4/2024). Pesawat komersil milik Citilink dengan kode penerbangan QG 752 dari Bandara Soekarno Hatta itu tiba, pada pukul 09.40 WIB.
Untuk diketahui, water salute merupakan tradisi penyambutan pesawat yang mendarat untuk pertama kalinya di sebuah bandara baru. Atau penghormatan untuk mereka yang hendak melakukan penerbangan terakhir.
Sementara itu, dalam penerbangan perdana ini, total Citilink mengangkut 178 penumpang. Di antara daftar manifest itu, ada Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Dodik Purwanto, Ketua Fraksi NasDem Lutfi Mahmudiono dan Zaini.
Selain water salute, kedatangan penumpang pertama ini disambut pengalungan bunga oleh Bupati Kediri Hanindhito Himawan Pramana dan Direktur PT Surya Dhoho Investama (SDHI) Maksin Arisandi bersama sejumlah pihak-pihak terkait.
Sebelumnya, PT. Gudang Garam Tbk. pemrakarsa Bandara Dhoho Kediri mengatakan, pendaratan ini membuka era baru dalam pengembangan konektivitas udara dan pertumbuhan ekonomi di wilayah Jawa Timur bagian selatan, khususnya di Kabupaten Kediri dan sekitarnya.
Sebagai Badan Usaha Pelaksana yang telah ditunjuk oleh Kementerian Perhubungan melalui Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Udara untuk mengelola Bandar Udara Dhoho melalui skema Kerjasama Pemerintah dengan Badan Usaha (KPBU), SDhI telah berkomitmen untuk menyediakan layanan bandar udara yang berkualitas tinggi untuk masyarakat.
Bandar Udara Dhoho dibangun dengan standar internasional, dengan landasan pacu sepanjang 3.300 meter dan lebar 45 meter, mampu menampung pendaratan pesawat jet berbadan lebar.
Terminal Penumpang yang dirancang untuk menampung hingga 1,5 juta penumpang setiap tahunnya pada tahap awal, dan akan mampu menampung hingga 10 juta penumpang per tahunnya pada tahap ultimatenya, memastikan kenyamanan dan kemudahan bagi para penumpang pesawat udara. (jek)
