Klungkung (Jatimsmart.id) – Ada yang menarik pada pelaksanaan lomba gerak jalan yang digelar di depan Pendopo Puri Agung, Kabupaten Klungkung, Provinsi Bali pada Selasa (08/08/2023). Pasalnya, semua peserta gerak jalan itu didominasi oleh perempuan.
Pelepasan peserta gerak jalan itu, dilakukan oleh Dandim 1610/Klungkung Letkol Inf Armen dan Bupati I Nyoman Suwirta.
Dijelaskan Dandim, perlombaan itu digelar dalam rangka menyambut datangnya HUT Kemerdekaan RI pada tanggal 17 Agustus mendatang.
Bahkan, Letkol Armen berujar, perlombaan itu terbagi menjadi 2 kategori diantaranya kategori PKK atau umum dan OPD atau peserta dari instansi Pemerintahan.
“Rute yang ditempuh kurang lebih sejauh 8 kilometer,” kata Dandim.
Tak hanya itu saja, Dandim mengatakan jika digelarnya perlombaan tersebut juga ditujukan untuk membangkitkan semangat nasionalisme dan patriotisme.
“Sekaligus memperkokoh persatuan dan kesatuan yang sudah tercipta dengan baik di Klungkung,” bebernya. (red)
