Kediri (Jatimsmart.id) – Pemerintah Kabupaten Kediri terus meningkatkan sarana prasarana pertanian di Bumi Panjalu. Pelaksana Tugas Kepala Dinas Pertanian dan Perkebunan Kabupaten Kediri Anang Widodo menyebut, sebagai salah satu program prioritas Bupati Hanindhito Himawan Pramana, pengembangan kawasan pertanian berbasis keunggulan komparatif dan komoditas saat ini diutamakan.

Peningkatan sarana prasarana pertanian baik melalui sumber dana APBN maupun APBD terus dilakukan sejak awal kepemimpinan Mas Dhito. Diungkapkan, bantuan alat mesin pertanian (Alsintan) dilakukan melalui pola hibah uang, dengan harapan bantuan yang diberikan sesuai spesifikasi yang dibutuhkan petani.

“Karena lahan di masing-masing daerah berbeda, kadang peralatan ini perlu dilakukan custom. Melalui pola hibah uang tersebut, alsintan yang dibutuhkan diharapkan dapat dimanfaatkan secara maksimal,” katanya, Senin 26 Juni 2023.

Pada tahun 2023 ini, sampai dengan Bulan Juni bantuan alsintan yang siap disalurkan berupa 3 unit traktor roda empat, 10 unit traktor roda 2, 21 unit cultivator. Selain alsintan, prasarana pertanian terus dikembangkan dan ditingkatkan baik secara kuantitas dan kualitas pertanian.

Pekerjaan yang segera dilakukan sebanyak 28 unit pekerjaan. Rinciannya, pekerjaan rehab saluran irigasi tersier di 10 titik dan jalan usaha tani 18 titik.

Adapun, pada tahun 2021 – 2022, ada 2.880 unit alsintan yang diperbantukan kepada petani. Alsintan tersebut disalurkan untuk mendukung usaha pertanian pada tahap penyiapan lahan, budidaya maupun pasca panen. 

Sedang, dalam bidang prasarana pertanian telah dibangun saluran irigasi sepanjang 14.412 meter sebanyak 62 lokasi, jalan usaha tani sepanjang 8.544 meter sebanyak 35 lokasi.

“Jalan usaha tani ini diharapkan bisa mempermudah transportasi dari sarana produksi sampai hasil pertanian, bentuknya cor beton,” bebernya.

Kemudian, irigasi tanah dangkal sebanyak 50 lokasi,  embung sebanyak 4 unit, dam parit sepanjang 2.899 meter sebanyak 12 lokasi dan pipanisasi sepanjang 3.378 meter sebanyak 4 lokasi.

Pembangunan sarana prasarana tersebut untuk mendukung program prioritas Bupati di empat kawasan Agropolitan baik itu Palempari, Pakancupung, Ngawasondat dan Segobatam.

Program pembangunan sarana pertanian yang dilakukan itu dilaksanakan melalui pola hibah uang. Pengerjaan pembangunan seperti saluran irigasi dan jalan usaha tani dilakukan petani dan masyarakat sekitar.

“Selain menghasilkan jalan usaha tani dan saluran irigasi, multi player effectnya untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat seperti sistem padat karya namun tetap ada konsultan perencana dan pengawas pendamping,” tandasnya.

Sebagaimana diketahui, dalam Pekan Nasional (Penas) Petani dan Nelayan XVI di Padang Sumatera Barat Kamis (15/6/2023) lalu, Bupati Kediri Hanindhito Himawan Pramana mendapatkan penghargaan dari Kementerian Pertanian RI.

Penghargaan diterima Mas Dhito m atas dedikasi, kontribusi, dan keberhasilannya dalam membangun bidang pertanian di Kabupaten Kediri. (adv/kominfo/jek)
