Kediri (Jatimsmart.id) – Bupati Kediri Hanindhito Himawan Pramana mengatakan pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Kediri mempunyai peran penting dalam membentengi dampak sosial pembangunan bandara.
Hal ini disampaikannya saat menghadiri Haul KH. Asy’ari dan Wisuda Al-qur’an Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Muta’allimin Sumbercangring Kecamatan Gurah Minggu (18/6/2023) malam.
Mas Dhito, sapaan akrabnya menjelaskan dalam pembangunan bandara yang akan beroperasi pada Oktober 2023 mendatang itu selain membawa dampak positif, ancaman pergeseran sosial juga menghantui.
Salah satu fungsi bandara, kata Mas Dhito, masyarakat bisa berangkat umroh dari Kediri menuju Saudi. Namun, bandara baru ini juga membawa dampak sosial.
“Maka dampak sosial ini yang dapat membentengi adalah pondok pesantren, poro masyayikh, sesepuh pinisepuh, gawagis, poro ulama,” ungkap Mas Dhito seperti dikutip dalam rilisnya yang diterima redaksi, pada Rabu (21/6/2023).
Dari dampak sosial yang paling serius, lanjut Mas Dhito, adalah paham radikalisme. Sehingga, 50 santri yang telah diwisuda tersebut diharapkan juga dapat menjadi benteng untuk melawan radikalisme.
“Para adik-adik yang baru saja diwisuda juga bisa menjadi benteng Kabupaten Kediri kedepannya,” tutur Mas Dhito.
Senada dengan Mas Dhito, Pengasuh Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Muta’allimin, Tanwirul Mubarok juga berharap agar santri-santrinya bisa bermanfaat bagi masyarakat luas.
Menurutnya, santri di era sekarang tidak hanya menjadi santri yang berdakwah saja. Namun juga mampu terjun bermasyarakat.
Pria yang akrab disapa Gus Irul itu mencontohkan, santri juga bisa figur besar seperti Wakil Presiden, Ma’ruf Amin dan Menteri Agama, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas.
“Harapan kami santri bisa membaur dengan masyarakat, membawa Islam yang rahmatan lilalamin, sinergi dengan pemerintah,” pungkasnya. (adv/kominfo/jek)
