Mojokerto (Jatimsmart.id) – Pemerintah Kabupaten Mojokerto mengajak para siswa memiliki daya juang untuk meraih suatu prestasi. Hal tersebut disampaikan Bupati Mojokerto, Ikfina Fahmawati ketika menghadiri Purnawiyata SMPN 2 Dawarblandong.
Seperti dipublikasikan Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Mojokerto, pelaksanaan Purnawiyata yang diikuti 183 siswa kelas 9 ini diselenggarakan di lapangan SMPN 2 Dawarblandong pada Selasa (13/6/2023).
“Pada saat ini bagaimana kita punya satu daya juang, punya kemauan dan kemampuan untuk berjuang itu adalah suatu yang sangat mahal. Selain itu, karakteristik warga Dawarblandong itu keren, luar biasa, dan banyak yang sukses, karena memiliki daya juang mau bekerja keras, tidak menunggu untuk diberikan kemudahan-kemudahan,” ungkapnya.
Selain itu, untuk mewujudkan suatu keberhasilan pada dunia pendidikan, Bupati Ikfina mengatakan generasi muda dapat menjadi SDM tenaga kerja yang produktif dengan menghasilkan suatu karya yang dapat dihargai dan memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya.
“Jadi saya titip kepada Bapak/Ibu semuanya bahwa lapangan kerja nanti yang mereka masuki itu minimal lulusan SMA sederajat. Kita pertanggungjawabkan dan mereka adalah masa depan kita semuanya. Jangan selesai lulus SMP. Tetapi mereka harus melanjutkan, karena dunia kerja membutuhkan minimal lulusannya adalah SMA sederajat,” bebernya.
Ia juga berharap para orang tua dapat mendampingi para siswa dari dampak negatif media sosial serta mendukung penuh agar para siswa agar memiliki daya juang. Dengan demikian, ke depannya dapat berkarya dan memiliki pekerjaan yang dapat menghidupi dirinya.
“Termasuk juga bagaimana membuat anak-anak kita ini betul-betul menjadi anak-anak yang berkarakter dan beriman. Itu adalah hal yang tidak bisa dipisahkan dari upaya kita menjadikan mereka orang-orang yang berhasil,” pungkasnya. (red/kjt)
