Batu (Jatimsmart.id) – Kemeriahan dan keunikan industri jamu serta olahan makanan herbal terbaik dari UMKM jamu di Malang Raya, hadir dalam acara “Bursa Jamu Materia Medica”. Acara yang diikuti oleh 60 stan industri dan UMKM jamu ini diselenggarakan dalam rangka memperingati Hari Jamu Nasional dan peresmian Griya Sehat Materia Medica.
Bursa jamu digelar di Griya Sehat Materia Medika Kota Batu mulai 13-15 Juni 2023. Kegiatan ini secara resmi dibuka oleh Pj. Wali Kota Batu, Aries Agung Paewai, yang diwakili oleh Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kota Batu, drg. Kartika Trisulandari, Selasa (13/06).
Kepala UPT Materia Medica, dr. Ratna Yulianti, mengatakan, Bursa Jamu Materia Medica menjadi ajang pertemuan para pelaku usaha jamu dan masyarakat pecinta herbal dari berbagai daerah di Malang Raya. Peserta acara menampilkan ragam produk jamu dan olahan makanan herbal terbaik yang memiliki kualitas dan daya saing tinggi.
“Bursa jamu ini menjadi bentuk dukungan bagi UMKM dan pelaku industri herbal untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan inovasi,” kata dr. Ratna.
Dalam kesempatan ini sekaligus dilakukan peresmian Griya Sehat Materia Medica, yang menjadi salah satu dari 12 griya sehat di Indonesia. Griya Sehat merupakan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan tradisional yang menyelenggarakan perawatan/ pengobatan tradisional komplementer oleh tenaga kesehatan.
Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kota Batu, drg. Kartika Trisulandari, mengatakan, tumbuhan herbal di Kota Batu memiliki potensi dalam mendukung industri olahan produk herbal. Melalui kegiatan ini, UMKM jamu diberikan kesempatan untuk memperluas jaringan bisnis, berbagi pengetahuan, serta meningkatkan kualitas dan inovasi produk.
“Kolaborasi dan dukungan terhadap UMKM jamu diharapkan mampu menciptakan iklim yang kondusif bagi pertumbuhan industri jamu dan peningkatan perekonomian di Kota Batu,” katanya.
Acara bursa jamu ini juga melibatkan siswa SMA, SMK, dan perguruan tinggi dalam berbagai acara pendukung seperti Lomba Cerdas Cermat, talkshow, demo peracikan jamu, dan cek kesehatan. Partisipasi generasi muda dalam acara ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang warisan budaya jamu, serta menginspirasi mereka untuk terlibat dalam industri jamu di masa depan.
