Kediri (Jatimsmart.id) – Kinerja penjualan eceran secara tahunan diprakirakan tumbuh positif pada Mei 2023. Hal tersebut tecermin dari Indeks Penjualan Riil (IPR) Mei 2023 sebesar 234,2, atau tumbuh positif sebesar 0,02% (yoy).
Kepala Departemen Komunikasi Bank Indonesia, Erwin Haryono, Selasa (13/6/2023) mengatakan, kinerja penjualan eceran tersebut didorong oleh Kelompok Makanan, Minuman, dan Tembakau serta Subkelompok Sandang yang diprakirakan tetap tumbuh positif.
Secara bulanan, penjualan eceran diprakirakan berada pada fase kontraksi sebesar 3,6% (mtm). Penurunan kinerja penjualan terjadi pada seluruh kelompok, terutama pada Subkelompok Sandang, Kelompok Makanan, Minuman, dan Tembakau, serta Peralatan Informasi dan Komunikasi sejalan dengan normalisasi konsumsi masyarakat setelah periode Ramadhan dan Idulfitri 1444 H.
Pada April 2023, IPR tercatat sebesar 242,9 atau secara tahunan tumbuh sebesar 1,5% (yoy). Kinerja penjualan eceran yang tumbuh positif terjadi pada beberapa kelompok, terutama pada Kelompok Budaya dan Rekreasi, serta Subkelompok Sandang.
Secara bulanan, penjualan eceran tercatat tumbuh sebesar 12,8% (mtm). Peningkatan terjadi pada mayoritas kelompok, dengan peningkatan tertinggi pada Subkelompok Sandang, Kelompok Peralatan Informasi dan Komunikasi, serta Makanan, Minuman, dan Tembakau sejalan dengan periode Ramadan dan Idulfitri 1444 H, strategi potongan harga yang dilakukan ritel, serta kelancaran distribusi sehingga mendorong peningkatan permintaan dalam negeri.
Dari sisi harga, responden memprakirakan tekanan inflasi akan menurun pada Juli 2023 dan relatif stabil pada Oktober 2023. Indeks Ekspektasi Harga Umum (IEH) Juli 2023 tercatat sebesar 118,5, lebih rendah dari 124,5 pada periode sebelumnya.
Sementara, IEH Oktober 2023 tercatat sebesar 121,6, relatif stabil dari periode sebelumnya sebesar 121,5. Tekanan harga yang terjaga tersebut didukung oleh ketersediaan pasokan dan kelancaran distribusi barang. (red/kjt)
