Blitar (Jatimsmart.id) – Sistem pemilu proposional tertutup dan terbuka menjadi pro kontra menjelang pelaksanaan Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) tahun 2024, aturan tersebut mengacu kepada Undang Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 tentang Pemilu.
Meski begitu, tidak merubah target Partai Golkar Kota Blitar menjadi runner up di Pemilu Kota Blitar. Hal ini disampaikan Moh. Hardi Husodo, ketua DPD Partai Golkar Kota Blitar saat mendampingi ketua DPP Partai Golkar Jawa Timur M Sarmuji bertemu dengan kader Partai Golkar di salah satu rumah makan di Kota Blitar (10/6/2023).
“Tidak masalah dengan sistem tertutup maupun terbuka,kita punya resep sendiri dan hanya diketahui internal partai bagaimana caranya kita akan meraih posisi kedua di Pemilu Kota Blitar 2024 mendatang,” ujar Moh. Hardi Husodo.
Dodok,panggilan akrab Moh. Hardi Husodo menambahkan dengan raihan posisi runner up dirinya berharap akan memiliki kursi yang memadai di parlemen. Sehingga Partai Golkar Kota Blitar akan mempunyai calon pemimpin daerah Kota Blitar sendiri. Apalagi DPP Partai Golkar Jatim memberikan motivasi kepada kader dan optimis meraup kursi maksimal.
“Bacaleg kita merupakan kader kader yang siap memenangkan partai, tentunya mimpi kita mempunyai Walikota dari kader Golkar. Dengan target perolehan minimal 5 kursi di parlemen, mimpi itu akan terwujud,” imbuhnya.
Dalam sejarah pelaksanaan pemilu di Indonesia, sistem proporsional terbuka dan tertutup pernah diterapkan dalam pemilihan umum. Untuk saat ini, sistem pemilu di Indonesia menerapkan sistem proporsional terbuka, hal ini termuat dalam Pasal 168 UU No.7 Tahun 2017.
Sistem pemilu proporsional tertutup adalah sistem pemilihan umum yang hanya memungkinkan masyarakat memilih partai politiknya saja, bukan calon wakil rakyat secara langsung. (tok)
