Jombang (Jatimsmart.id) – Mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) Prajabatan Bahasa Indonesia Gelombang 1 Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) dengan Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan (DPL) Ary Fawzi, S.Pd, M.Pd gelorakan sastra bersama guru dan siswa SMPN 2 Plandaan, Jombang pada Sabtu (27/5/2023). Acara ini dikemas dalam tajuk Seminggu Jadi Pujangga (Sejangga).
Sebelumnya, Mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan Bahasa Indonesia Gelombang 1 UM telah mengadakan seleksi karya puisi dari seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Plandaan. Hingga terpilih 90 karya puisi terbaik yang ditelurkan menjadi dua buku antologi puisi. Yakni Gelora Sastra dan Jagad Carana.
“Ini merupakan serangkaian kegiatan yang sudah dimulai sejak bulan April-Mei. Alhamdulillah dapat menghasilkan dua antologi puisi karya siswa,” ujar Irwan Dwi Prasetya, selaku ketua pelaksana kegiatan.
Program Sejangga merupakan inisiasi mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan Bahasa Indonesia Gelombang 1 UM. Kegiatan tersebut bermula dari Mata Kuliah Proyek Kepemimpinan II yang bersinergi dengan SMPN 2 Plandaan Jombang. “Kami memilih SMPN 2 Plandaan karena ingin meningkatkan literasi siswa,” terang pria yang akrab disapa Irwan.
Acara ini dikemas dalam beberapa kegiatan sastrawi. Antara lain bedah buku, deklamasi puisi, pembacaan puisi berantai, dan dramatisasi puisi. Acara diikuti oleh seluruh siswa kelas VIII dan IX. Puluhan siswa sangat antusias mengikuti seluruh rangkaian kegiatan dari awal hingga akhir.
Irwan dan kawan-kawan berharap, Sejangga dapat menjadi pemantik semangat bersastra dan berkarya dalam diri siswa SMPN 2 Plandaan. Selain itu, dapat melatih dan meningkatkan keterampilan menulis. “Diadakan kegiatan ini agar mereka (siswa, Red) membuat karya-karya lain yang bermanfaat bagi dirinya dan orang di sekitarnya,” tuturnya.
Kegiatan ini mendapat dukungan penuh dari Kepala SMPN 2 Plandaan, Jombang Bambang Setiyawan. Bambang mengaku sangat mengapresiasi kegiatan Sejangga yang diadakan oleh mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan Bahasa Indonesia Gelombang 1 UM. Dia merasa tersanjung belasan mahasiswa dari berbagai kota berkenan melakukan kolaborasi dengan siswa di lembaganya.
“Kami sangat senang dengan kolaborasi ini. Program Sejangga ini sejalan dengan semangat literasi yang kami kembangkan di sekolah,” ungkap Bambang.
Terlebih, dalam program ini juga dapat menghasilkan dua buah karya buku antologi puisi dari siswa SMPN 2 Plandaan. “Kami ingin anak-anak di sini semakin bersemangat. Tidak kalah dengan SMP lainnya di Kabupaten Jombang,” tandas Bambang.
Hal senada disampaikan oleh Ilhami Lailatul Qodarisma, 15, siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Plandaan, Jombang. Dia merasa bangga karya puisinya dapat dibukukan dalam buku. Terlebih, Laila berkesempatan membacakan langsung karyanya di hadapan puluhan peserta kegiantan Sejangga.
“Senang dan bangga, karya saya bisa dibukukan. Semoga bisa berkarya lebih baik lagi dan mewujudkan impian menjadi seorang penulis,” pungkas Laila. (red)
