Kediri (Jatimsmart.id) – Kinerja penjualan eceran secara tahunan diprakirakan meningkat pada Maret 2023. Hal tersebut tecermin dari Indeks Penjualan Riil (IPR) Maret 2023 sebesar 215,2, atau tumbuh 4,8% (yoy), lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan indeks pada bulan sebelumnya sebesar 0,6% (yoy).
Direktur Eksekutif Departemen Komunikasi Bank Indonesia, Erwin Haryono, Rabu (12/4/2023) mengatakan, kinerja penjualan eceran yang meningkat tersebut didorong oleh pertumbuhan Kelompok Makanan, Minuman dan Tembakau, Barang Budaya dan Rekreasi, serta Subkelompok Sandang, sementara Kelompok Peralatan Informasi dan Komunikasi juga tercatat membaik dari bulan sebelumnya meski masih berada dalam fase kontraksi.
Secara bulanan, penjualan eceran diprakirakan tumbuh positif sebesar 7,0% (mtm), setelah pada bulan sebelumnya berada pada fase kontraksi sebesar 3,4% (mtm). Peningkatan terjadi pada seluruh kelompok, terutama pada Kelompok Peralatan Informasi dan Komunikasi, Barang Budaya dan Rekreasi, serta Makanan, Minuman dan Tembakau seiring dengan periode bulan Ramadan 1444 H, strategi potongan harga yang dilakukan ritel, serta kelancaran distribusi yang mendorong peningkatan permintaan domestik.
Pada periode Februari 2023, IPR tercatat sebesar 201,2 atau secara tahunan tumbuh positif sebesar 0,6% (yoy), membaik dibandingkan dengan bulan sebelumnya terkontraksi sebesar -0,6% (yoy). Peningkatan/perbaikan terjadi pada mayoritas kelompok, terutama Subkelompok Sandang serta Kelompok Makanan, Minuman, dan Tembakau.
Secara bulanan, penjualan eceran menunjukkan perbaikan meski masih berada pada fase kontraksi. Perbaikan terutama terjadi pada Kelompok Peralatan Informasi dan Komunikasi, Subkelompok Sandang, dan Kelompok Perlengkapan Rumah Tangga Lainnya seiring dengan permintaan yang masih terjaga.
Dari sisi harga, responden memprakirakan tekanan inflasi pada Mei dan Agustus 2023 akan mengalami penurunan. Indeks Ekspektasi Harga Umum (IEH) Mei dan Agustus 2023 masing-masing tercatat sebesar 130,3 dan 128,1, lebih rendah dari 145,1 dan 133,5 pada periode sebelumnya. Penurunan tersebut sejalan dengan telah berlalunya periode bulan Ramadan dan Idulfitri 1444 H, serta kelancaran distribusi barang. (red/kjt)
