Batu (Jatimsmart.id) – Dinas Pariwisata Kota Batu berkolaborasi dengan tokoh seniman Kota Batu menggelar “Kontes Sinden Idola Kota Batu 2023 se-Malang Raya” selama 3 hari, mulai 27-28 Februari dan 1 Maret 2023. Kontes berlangsung di Padepokan Griya Shinta Dewi, Jalan Rambutan, Songgoriti, Kelurahan Songgokerto, dan dibuka secara resmi pada Selasa (28/2).

Diantara seniman dan sesepuh Kota Batu yang memprakarsai kontes ini seperti Agung Shinta sebagai pelaku budaya kesenian karawitan sinden, Hariyanto sang maestro karawitan, dan Ki Eko Saputro seorang dalang muda sekaligus Ketua Pepadi Kota Batu, serta sejumlah seniman musik tradisional Kota Batu.

Membuka acara, Agung Shinta, menjelaskan bahwa acara ini merupakan komitmen bersama untuk mendorong, memfasilitasi sekaligus sebagai kontribusi untuk Kota Batu sebagai kota wisata yang berkebudayaan.

“Dalam rangka melestarikan budaya dan tidak hanya Batu tapi Malang Raya, kebudayaan kita tidak dipandang sebelah mata oleh daerah lain. Mari kita bersama-sama melestarikan kebudayaan ini, kita tidak boleh melupakan peninggalan leluhur kita,” ujar Agung Shinta.

Sintiche Agustina Pamungkas, Kabid Kebudayaan Disparta Kota Batu, menjelaskan, kontes ini merupakan kegiatan yang baru pertama kali diselenggarakan. Dengan 2 kategori, yaitu kategori pelajar dibawah 15 tahun dan kategori umum diatas 15 tahun, kontes ini diikuti oleh 30 peserta se-Malang Raya. 

“Tujuan Kontes Sinden Idola ini adalah untuk melestarikan budaya, memperkenalkan seni tembang, mengembangkan potensinya, sekaligus upaya untuk pemajuan kebudayaan di Kota Batu,” ungkap Sintinche.

Diharapkan melalui kontes ini, dapat menggugah dan menjaring potensi sinden sehingga dapat menumbuh kembangkan seni karawitan di Kota Batu.

“Griya Shinta Dewa Dalem Agung Ibu Shinta, dan nanti akan menambah animo masyarakat membangkitkan potensi budaya. Kami harapkan betul-betul khasanah budaya Kota Batu yang berkonsentrasi di Songgoriti, dapat membawa nama Kota Batu lebih luas,” harap Sintinche. (red/kot)
