Kediri (Jatimsmart.id) – Sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan literasi dan edukasi kepada masyarakat terkait pemanfaatan produk jasa keuangan, Pemkot Kediri berkolaborasi dengan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) Kediri menggelar sharing session yang bertajuk OJK Menyapa.
Bambang Supriyanto, Kepala OJK Kediri menyampaikan bahwa instansi pemerintah dan media merupakan lembaga yang melekat dengat masyarakat sehingga diharapkan dapat menyerap informasi terkait permasalahan yang timbul dalam penggunaan produk jasa keuangan.
“Kami ingin dapat insight dari pihak media massa dan pemerintah khususnya pada sektor jasa keuangan termasuk usulan bagi OJK dalam rangka meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi guna peningkatan literasi,” ujarnya.
Terkait tingkat literasi dan inklusi keuangan, pihaknya juga menyebut telah melakukan survei pada tahun 2022 dan menunjukkan tren positif. Indeks literasi keuangan masyarakat Indonesia pada tahun 2022 sebesar 49,68%.
Nilai tersebut meningkat dibanding tahun 2019 yang tercatat di level 38,03%. Kemudian, indeks inklusi keuangan tahun 2022 tercatat di angka 85,10%, naik dibandingkan tahun 2019 yang tercatat di level 76,19%. Meskipun terdapat peningkatan, kata Bambang, masih terdapat selisih 35,42% dan menjadi tugas antara OJK, pemerintah, serta media untuk lebih meningkatkan literasi keuangan masyarakat.
Melalui kegiatan yang dilaksanakan di salah salu resto di Kota Kediri dan dihadiri 30 peserta dari Diskominfo Kota Kediri, Bagian Prokopim Kota Kediri, Diskominfo Kabupaten Kediri, perwakilan forum komunikasi lembaga jasa keuangan daerah Kediri-Madiun serta media massa tersebut Bambang berharap agar kegiatan OJK Menyapa menjadi momentum bersama dalam meningkatkan sinergi dan kolaborasi dalam mendorong indeks literasi dan inklusi keuangan masyarakat.
Di penghujung acara, beberapa peserta dari kalangan media massa turut memberikan masukan kepada OJK Kediri dalam melaksanakan upaya tersebut, di antaranya melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dengan mengadopsi kearifan lokal masyarakat setempat agar pesan yang tersirat lebih mudah diterima. Kegiatan sosialisasi juga dapat dikemas lebih kreatif guna menarik atensi masyarakat.
Dalam kesempatan berbeda, Apip Permana, Kepala Diskominfo Kota Kediri menyatakan siap bersinergi dengan OJK untuk meningkatkan tingkat literasi dan inklusi keuangan masyarakat.
“Salah satu upaya yang kita galakkan yakni melalui produksi berita maupun konten tentang informasi edukasi literasi dan inklusi keuangan di media massa dan media sosial,” ucapnya. Dirinya juga menyatakan bahwa antara Diskominfo Kota Kediri dengan OJK Kediri telah terbangun sinergitas yang kokoh melalui Satgas Waspada Investasi (SWI). (*)
