Nganjuk (Jatimsmart.id) – Batik Ecoprint memang sudah menjadi trend tersendiri di era milenial saat ini. Sehingga para pengusaha tekstil pun mulai tertarik untuk berlomba-lomba membuat produk ecoprint yang memiliki pangsa pasar yang luas. Hal inilah yang juga tengah dilakoni oleh pengrajin batik asal Desa Bulu Putren, Kecamatan Sukomoro yakni Yayuk Sri Rahayu dengan branding khasnya yakni ‘Swarnabhumi’.

Pemilik Griya Batik ‘Sri Rahayu Swarnabhumi Kreasi Seni Olah Kain Ramah Lingkungan’ ini mulai merintis bisnis ecoprint ketika sang ibu mulai pensiun dari bisnis batik tulisnya pada tahun 2015. Sehingga ia kemudian meneruskan pada tahun 2017, namun dengan produk yang berbeda yaitu batik ecoprint.

“Ecoprint lebih mudah dari batik tulis. Karena kalau batik tulis harus melalui proses canting dan kita juga keterbatasan tenaga. Selain itu ecoprint lebih cocok dengan konsep usaha kita yaitu pertanian ramah lingkungan dengan memanfaatkan tanaman tumbuh-tumbuhan yang bisa kita tanam sendiri di rumah ataupun di sawah,” papar Yayuk.

Dijelaskan Yayuk bahwa ecoprint ini menggunakan teknik pewarnaan kain dengan tumbuhan yang bisa dimanfaatkan mulai dari daun, batang, bunga dan sebagainya. “Kita bisa manfaatkan semuanya misalnya dari pelepah pisang, bunga, kulit kayu juga bisa. Yang jelas kalau batik kan harus membuat motif dan menceritakan makna dari batik itu. Tapi kalau ecoprint motifnya sudah ada tinggal kita memadu padankan karakteristik daun yang bagus bagaimana”, terangnya.

Menurutnya keunggulan ecoprint dari batik tulis adalah lebih mudah proses pembuatannya yakni pertama, tidak perlu punya keahlian mencanting yang harus berlatih sekian lama sampai benar-benar mahir.  Kedua, warnanya alami karena didapatkan dari tumbuhan. “Jadi secara produksi kenapa orang lebih memilih ecoprint, ya karena lebih mudah proses pembuatannya. Tapi bisa juga kami kombinasikan antara batik tulis dengan ecoprint sesuai permintaan pasar,” tuturnya.

Sedangkan untuk jenis kainnya yang paling bagus adalah kain dari serat alam. Karena warnanya dari alam seperti kain sifon, rayon, sutra supaya lebih mudah masuk ke serat kain. Untuk modelnya Yayuk mengaku lebih banyak memproduksi outer karena menurutnya bisa masuk pada setiap ukuran. Disamping itu ia juga tetap melayani model lain sesuai permintaan pasar.

“Namun ada juga dari kain sintetis, itu nanti kita bisa gunakan dari tanin yang kuat yaitu dari daun jati atau daun jambu mete karena punya warna yang kuat dan tidak mudah luntur nati diproses dengan cara tim/kukus”, jelasnya.

“Kita juga tetap melayani sesuai permintaan dari konsumen misalnya jika ingin dibuatkan model gamis kita bisa buatkan,” tambahnya.

Untuk pemasaran Yayuk mengaku telah memamasarkan produknya baik melalui offline maupun online ke seluruh nusantara. “Kami ada secara offline di wilayah luar Nganjuk sendiri yakni di Pakuwon Mall dan beberapa mall besar di Surabaya. Kalau untuk online ada di e-commerce.  Dan Ada juga permintaan dari teman- teman melalui jalur Whatsapp,” urainya.

Yayuk optimis jika dibandingkan dengan para ecoprinter di luar sana produknya mampu bersaing baik dari segi harga maupun kualitas. “Karena keuntungan kita kalau di Nganjuk kan daunnya gak usah beli bisa tanam sendiri. Terus tenaganya apalagi kalau ada anak-anak magang kami sangat terbantu. Jadi harganya lebih ramah di kantong tapi kualitasnya juga bagus. Dalam satu bulan kita bisa meraup untung sampai 25 juta,” unggulnya.

Sebagai informasi Griya Batik Sri Rahayu Swarnabhumi Kreasi Seni Olah Kain Ramah Lingkungan telah meraih berbagai penghargaan diantaranya pernah mengikuti ajang pameran batik tahun  2022 yang digelar oleh Bank Indonesia (BI), Juara II UKM Prestasi se Jawa Timur tahun 2019,  Juara I Konsep Go Green dan Kemenparekraf sebagai finalis nasional di tahun 2021.
