Kediri (Jatimsmart.id) – Kabupaten Kediri memiliki beragam kuliner yang wajib untuk dikunjungi, salah satunya Soto Kambing 35 yang terletak di Desa Mlati Kecamatan Mojo. Lokasinya cukup strategis yaitu pinggir jalan raya yang menghubungkan Kediri-Tulungagung tepatnya di depan Masjid Besar At Taqwa.
Bagi yang ingin berburu kuliner khas Kabupaten Kediri bisa langsung menuju ke lokasi, apalagi akses jembatan penghubung antara Kediri-Tulungagung telah selesai dibangun.
Berbicara soal rasa, dijamin beda dan pasti bikin ketagihan. Karena soto Kambing 35 ini merupakan resep turun temurun sejak jaman penjajahan tahun 1940 oleh Mbah Jani.
Saat ini resep turun menurun yang diwariskan oleh mpunya kini dikelola oleh Ibu Linda (45) yang merupakan cucu mantu. Beliau menikah dengan anak Mbah Jani yang merupakan generasi ketiga.
Uniknya, Pikulan bambu tempat soto sekaligus mejanya tersebut tidak berubah sejak Mbah Jani berjualan bahkan sekarang warnanya sudah menghitam.
“Yang pasti sejak berdiri tahun 1940 hingga sekarang tetap mempertahankan cita rasanya sehingga tak jarang pengungunjung yang datang kembali untuk menyantap kuliner ini,” jelas Linda.
“Untuk penyajiannya dengan mangkuk kecil, sedangkan memasaknya secara tradisional menggunakan tungku kayu bakar sehingga menambah cita rasa soto ini,” terang Linda.
Jangan kaget, Soto kambing 35 ini sering disebut pengunjungnya soto “Dok” karena ketika selesai menuangkan kecap, penjual lalu meletakan botol kecap dengan keras sehingga timbul bunyi suara “dok”. Hal ini juga menjadi ciri khas yang unik yang dimiliki oleh kuliner legendaris ini.
“Harganya sangat terjangkau, untuk per porsi mangkok mini hanya Rp. 7.000,-, sedangkan mangkok besar Rp. 12.000,-, jadi tak perlu merogoh kantong dalam-dalam dan cocok untuk kuliner bersama keluarga,” lanjut Linda.
“Tak ayal pengunjung yang datang selalu tambah, karena kalau hanya makan 1 porsi pasti akan kurang bahkan ada yang pernah habis sampai 5 porsi mangkok mini,” tutur Linda.
Ternyata, Soto legendaris ini sudah dikenal hingga luar daerah seperti Blitar, Trenggalek, Tulungagung, Surabaya dan masih banyak lagi.
“Tak ketinggalan Mas Bupati Kediri Hanindhito Himawan Pramana juga pernah mampir ke warung ini sebanyak 2 kali,” kata Linda.
Ditanya sehari habis berapa kilogram daging kambing atau berapa porsi soto kambing, sembari tersenyum Linda hanya menjawab “pokok e banyak mas, gak pernah ngitung, Alhamdulillah pelanggan selalu kembali lagi dan selalu bertambah jumlahnya”.
