Kediri (Jatimsmart.id) – Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) Kota Kediri menggelar aksi flash mob menolak kenaikan harga Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM). Aksi ini dipusatkan di Taman Brantas Kota Kediri, Sabtu 10 September 2022.
Aksi flash mob ini diikuti belasan kader PKS Kota Kediri. Mereka melakukan gerakan dengan lagu PKS Go. Aksi unik ini dilakukan untuk menyuarakan penolakan kenaikan harga BBM bersubsidi.
Dalam sikapnya, Ketua DPD PKS Kota Kediri Mukti Wibowo yang didampingi sekretaris PKS Roby Purnawirawan dan Nurfuleli Anggota DPRD Kota Kediri Komisi A tegas menolak kenaikan harga BBM.
“Kami atas nama pengurus, kader dan seluruh anggota PKS Kota Kediri menyatakan menolak dengan tegas, kebijakan pemerintah yang menaikkan harga BBM bersubsidi , dan mendesak pemerintah untuk membatalkan kebijakan kenaikan bbm subsidi , yang membebani dan menyusahkan rakyat,” kata Ketua DPD PKS Kota Kediri Mukti Wibowo.
Momentum kebijakan tersebut, lanjut Mukti WIbowo tidak tepat, karena kondisi ekonomi masyarakat belum pulih setelah dilanda pandemi covid-19 dan melambungnya harga minyak goreng beberapa waktu lalu.
Kenaikan harga bbm bersubsidi yang mencapai hingga 30 persen ini, akan menimbulkan efek domino akibat meningkatnya biaya transportasi dan ongkos produksi.
Sehingga harga-harga kebutuhan pokok akan naik, menurunkan daya beli masyarakat, memukul sektor umkm dan akhirnya menambah jumlah kemiskinan di indonesia.
“Pemerintah telah mendapatkan mandat dari rakyat, maka sudah menjadi kewajiban pemerintah untuk menstabilkan ekonomi , dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan rakyat,” tambahnya.
Bantuan sosial non tunai dan bentuk bantuan langsung lainnya, menurut PKS juga tidak menyelesaikan masalah dan hanya bersifat sementara.
Bantuan yang diterima tidaklah sebanding dengan meningkatnya harga-harga, apalagi kalau usaha kecil yang menjadi penopang ekonomi.
PKS bertanggungjawab secara moral dan konstitusional untuk menyuarakan penolakan terhadap kenaikan bbm bersubsidi. Mereka mengaku akan terus mengawal dan membela kepentingan rakyat, mendesak pemerintah untuk mereview kebijakan tersebut dengan mengutamakan kebutuhan rakyat dan mengkaji serta menunda proyek-proyek yang tidak prioritas seperti IKN dan kereta api cepat.
