Artis papan atas itu akan membantu Presiden Klub Abdul Hakim Bafagih dalam membesarkan nama Persik di persepakbolaan tanah air.
Menurut Hakim, industri olahraga dewasa ini bukan hanya mengandalkan sisi sport saja. Tetapi juga membutuhkan sentuhan entertainment.
“Kami menyebutnya sebagai sportainment. Di negara-negara yang maju olahraganya, sportainment sudah maju begitu pesat,” ungkap Hakim.
Karena itu, dengan hadirnya Gading di jajaran manajemen, Hakim mengharapkan, Persik tidak hanya memiliki prestasi di kompetisi Liga 1. Tetapi, klub ini juga bakal tampil lebih entertain dan enak dilihat.
Mengapa Gading Marten? Hakim mengungkapkan, pihaknya sudah bertemu langsung dengan penggemar berat klub AC Milan itu. Hakim kemudian menyampaikan visi misi dalam membangun klub sepak bola profesional. Dari sana, Gading tertarik untuk membantu Persik.
Sebagai publik figur ternama, Gading juga sukses membangun industri media digital. Gading mendirikan Kuy Entertainment yang memiliki jiwa muda, kreatif dan dinamis.
“Kami di Persik akan bersinergi untuk menjadikan klub ini lebih berwarna lagi,” ungkap Hakim.
