Batu (Jatimsmart.id) – Berdasarkan data yang dihimpun oleh Badan Penanggulangan Bencana daerah (BPBD) Kota Batu, sebanyak 15 orang dilaporkan hilang terseret aliran sungai yang meluap.Dari data tersebut, 4 orang diantaranya berhasil ditemukan, sedangkan 11 orang lainnya masih dalam pencarian.
Seperti yang diketahui, beberapa wilayah di Kota Batu diterjang oleh banjir bandang akibat tingginya curah hujan.

Berdasarkan laporan dari BPBD Kota Batu, arus anak Sungai Brantas yang melintas di Desa Sumber Brantas, Kecamatan Bumiaji, Kota Batu, terpantau mengalir deras dengan membawa beberapa material, seperti lumpur, batu, potongan pohon, serta puing bangunan.
Tim BPBD Kota Batu dibantu lintas instansi terkait, termasuk TNI dan Polri, percepatan penanganan banjir bandang dengan melakukan koordinasi, pendataan lebih lanjut, dan menyiapkan lokasi pengungsian.
