Kediri (Jatimsmart.id) – Berbagai upaya dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Kota Kediri untuk penangangan Covid-19 saat PPKM Darurat. Salah satunya mengalihfungsikan Gedung Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) dan GNI Kota Kediri menjadi ruang isolasi mandiri terpusat.

Menurut Walikota Kediri Abdullah Abu Bakar, ruang isolasi mandiri terpusat ini harus nyaman. “Ruang isolasi harus bisa meningkatkan imun pasien, sehingga pasien tidak perlu dirawat di umah sakit dan Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR) bisa kita tekan”, jelasnya.
Masih menurut Mas Abu, Gedung BLK dan GNI diperuntukkan bagi warga domisili Kota Kediri yang merupakan pasien Covid-19 tanpa gejala atau OTG. Langkah antisipatif ini dilakukan Abdullah Abu Bakar setelah mengamati adanya korelasi antara tingginya kasus di lingkungan padat penduduk dengan penyebaran Covid-19. Menurutnya dengan disediakan ruang isolasi mandiri terpusat harapannya dapat menurunkan angka penyebaran Covid-19 di Kota Kediri.
Sementara itu Plt. Kepala Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Kota Kediri, Indun Munawaroh mengatakan bahwa Ruang Isolasi Terpusat mulai beroperasi sejak Senin, (6/7). Menurutnya kapasitas Gedung BLK cukup untuk menampung 66 pasien dengan faililitas yang baik, yakni musholla, mesin cuci, dapur, tempat tidur, makan, masker dan wifi.
Menurut Indun ada pengawasan 24 jam non stop dari satpol PP dan BPBD Kota Kediri. “Pasien isolasi mandiri tetap kita awasi kondisi kesehatannya. Disini ada tabung oksigen juga. Dan ada SOP apa yang harus dilakukan jika kondisi pasien isolasi mandiri semakin membaik atau memburuk,” jelasnya.
Saat ini gedung BLK sudah menerima 8 pasien. Andik Setiawan salah satu pasien ruang isolasi mengatakan bahwa berdasarkan informasi dari petugas ia akan menjalani isolasi maksimal 10 hari dan boleh pulang setelah pemeriksaan lebih lanjut oleh petugas kesehatan.

Menurut Andik ruang isolasi ini sangat layak. “Tempatnya nyaman banget dengan berbagai fasilitas. Ada TV-nya jadi bisa nonton sinetron atau bola. Wifi-nya juga gratis, bisa buat mabar” pungkasnya. (*)
