Tulungagung (Jatimsmart.id) – Warga RT/RW 01/01, Desa Ngranti, Kecamatan Boyolangu, Kabupaten Tulungagung, punya cara tersendiri untuk menjaga kebersihan lingkungan mereka. Cara ini terbilang cukup unik, dan mengagetkan. Mereka membangun sebuah kuburan palsu, di lokasi yang kerap dijadikan sebagai tempat pembuangan sampah oleh masyarakat yang tidak bertanggung jawab.
Kuburan palsu ini dibuat di tepi jembatan, tidak jauh dari lokasi komplek pemakaman umum desa tersebut. Prank ini pun terbukti cukup efektif untuk mengurangi sampah rumah tangga yang biasa dibuang di lokasi ini. Bahkan lokasi itu sekarang nampak bersih dari kotoran.
Kuburan palsu ini pun sempat viral di media sosial karena lokasinya yang tak lazim. Suwito Ketua RT setempat mengatakan warga secara bergotong royong membuat kuburan palsu ini. Mereka menggunakan batu nisan bekas yang diambil dari dalam komplek pemakaman umum sehingga terkesan asli.
“Spontan saja kami membuat kuburan palsu ini karena geram dengan pelaku pembuangan sampah di lokasi tersebut,” ujarnya, Rabu (11/3).
Suwito menjelaskan, lokasi tersebut dijadikan tempat pembuangan sampah selama bertahun tahun. Warga cukup resah karena setiap kali dibersihkan selalu ada sampah baru keesokan harinya. Pihak desa bahkan sudah menjanjikan hadiah bagi siapa yang bisa menangkap pelaku pembuangan sampah.
“Namun cara tersebut ternyata tidak berhasil. Beragam sampah rumah tangga seperti pampers, plastik bahkan rumah siput tetap dibuang di lokasi ini,” imbuhnya.
Pembuatan kuburan palsu ini ternyata sangat efektif. Sampah yang dibuang di lokasi ini menurun drastis. Bahkan tidak tampak sama sekali adanya gunungan sampah seperti sebelumnya. Warga berharap pelaku pembuangan sampah ini sadar akan pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan.
“Walaupun pada akhirnya mereka tahu kuburan ini palsu tapi diharapkan kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan sekitar bisa bertambah,” pungkasnya. (pam/ydk)
